I believe that as product designers we have a duty to remain aware of our impact on the environment and ensure that our work is not only practical, functional, and ergonomic, but also sustainable.
Sketching, CAD, and physical modelling are all very important hands-on skills for a designer to have. They help ideas and design solutions transition from the imagination of a designer into the real world.
